Customer Launch Manager

ProsperOps is seeking a Customer Launch Manager with FinOps expertise to lead new customers through a world-class onboarding journey. Your mission will be to ensure a seamless transition from signed contract to fully onboarded, guiding customers through the ProsperOps platform, core FinOps concepts, and discount management strategies.

This role is perfect for someone who combines FinOps practitioner knowledge with a customer-first mindset. You’ll translate complex cloud cost optimization concepts into simple, actionable steps for customers, ensuring they feel confident, supported, and set up for long-term success.

Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding experience: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new customers, ensuring fast time-to-value and a strongly positive first impression
  • Support customers with technical items to include completing per-cloud technical setup, ensuring permissions (e.g., IAM roles, stacksets) and integrations like single sign-on are configured smoothly 
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to create smooth handoffs, anticipate customer needs, and feed onboarding insights back into our processes and roadmap.
  • Continuous improvement: Standardize onboarding best practices, refine playbooks, and introduce improvements that reduce friction and scale the onboarding experience

Requirements

  • FinOps practitioner experience: Strong familiarity FinOps and specializing on any hyperscale Cloud
  • Customer-facing skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly terms
  • Project management mindset: Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at juggling multiple customers and timelines while never losing sight of the details
  • Problem solver: Ability to quickly identify pain points, remove blockers, and ensure progress.
  • Analytical comfort: Proficiency with spreadsheets and comfort working with financial and usage data
  • Startup mentality: Curious, proactive, and energized by working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
