With incredible growth over the past year, ProsperOps is expanding our sales team and looking for a Sales Development Representative to focus on growing our top of funnel sales pipeline.  As an SDR, you will prospect into targeted organizations to drive leads for the greater sales team. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience in IT sales, customer service, and/or prospecting roles with a strong desire to be in sales as a career. This role reports to the Head of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify and prospect for new customers
  • Setup quality meetings and appointments
  • Manage inbound leads to meet SLAs
  • Identify and qualify opportunities with prospects and existing customers over Zoom
  • Drive attendance to local and regional events
  • Achieve monthly activity goals
  • Partner with AWS, AWS resellers, and consultants to drive net new lead generation
  • Update and maintain company & customer information in Hubspot (CRM) 

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing role; 1+ years of experience in a Sales or Business Development role a big plus
  • Track record exceeding targets (Appointments set, Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) generation, etc.)
  • Desire to pursue a career in sales
  • Strong oral and written skills
  • Passion, enthusiasm, energy, and the ability to convey this through Zoom and email communications
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Multi-tasker who can wear multiple hats
